Hi! My name is Sveta Gorlatova and I have started this project in 2022 within Alexander von Humboldt Foundation fellowship program.
ABOUT
A little bit about my background:
I was very eager to learn about feminist practice in urban planning, but I could not find any source that collects knowledge and projects in one place. So this is how the idea of this project appeared.
I would like to use this platform to bring researchers together to help each other, to learn from each other, to find inspiration and colleagues.
Since 2022 I am a co-author and co-host of the podcast “Sandbox” (in Russian) about speculative design, cities, contemporary philosophy, economy and political theory.
I am currently a student at the MA Gender Studies program. I have graduated from Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design, the think tank “The New Normal”.
In 2023 I joined the Feminist Park Collective. The collective research interests lie in the intersection of environmental justice, the studies of urban green spaces, anti-colonial and feminist theory.
I also create and manage cultural and educational projects.
